Amanda is driven by her passion for crafting timeless, high-quality apparel—those go-to pieces you reach for every day. Recently, she led women’s wovens and denim at Buck Mason helping to establish their women’s collection. During her tenure, the women’s business grew 350%. The New York Times recognized a core shirt she designed there as the "Best Women's Button Up Shirt" and described it as, “relaxed and effortless but also put-together,” which perfectly sums up her design ethos. Before her time at Buck Mason, Amanda spent seven years at Gap, focusing on women’s woven bottoms, outerwear, and washed product. Her accomplishments there include designing the best-selling item in Gap’s 50-year history, having her product worn by Kate Middleton, and achieving consecutive positive comps on a global scale. Amanda possesses a keen understanding of balancing innovation with marketability, she approaches her work with strategic insight both as a designer and from a business perspective. She values collaborative cross-functional teams, recognizing that strong partnerships yield the best results. After studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology and spending 13 years in New York, Amanda is now based in Los Angeles.
